The change of season has brought a change of activities. Students will be participating in activities such as ultimate frisbee, wiffle ball, and bounce ball. These activities will help the students with their hand eye coordination and develop their team skills. The students have been working hard and it has been great teaching these young men and women. Please contact me if there are any questions or concerns.

DODGEBALL

January 20, 2009

Dodgeball is sport that we participate in at St Mary. The students are safe during this activity due to the type of dodgeball we use. The dodgeball is a soft foam ball that does not harm the students as they get hit. The students are very excited to participate in this activity and we usually start playing this activity about two weeks prior to Catholic School’s Week. Catholic School’s Week is when we have  a dodgeball tournament and the students pick teams, create costumes, and compete to become the next Champion of the St Mary dodgeball tournament.

Thank you for visiting my online classroom! Each semester, the students will be tested for their personal level of fitness.  As a physical education teacher, it is my goal to teach each student the importance of these fitness tests, as well as, to also motivate them in achieving more than they expect out of themselves.
